One daily ritual of human instincts.

Guess what the world answers

The daily game of human instincts

What is Wonderhop?

Wonderhop is a free daily trivia game built around one question: what would everyone else say? Every day you get four short games and seven questions each. In Sky you give the most common answer. In Abyss you give the rarest. In Past you travel to the oldest answer and in Future to the newest. No account, no ads, no download: just your own words against everyone else's instincts.

  • Sky · most common answer Find the answer everyone gives and climb from the sea towards the stars.
  • Abyss · rarest answer Find the answer almost nobody gives and dive towards the trench.
  • Past · oldest answer Name the oldest thing you can and travel back through the centuries.
  • Future · newest answer Name the most recent thing you can and race forward to our own time.

Rules in one minute

How to play Wonderhop

  1. Pick a game. Sky and Abyss use today's seven survey questions; Past and Future use today's seven dated questions. You can play them in any order.
  2. Type a real answer. Each question asks you to name something. Start typing and the autocomplete will show accepted answers; a typo-tolerant judge looks after the rest.
  3. Beat the clock. You get 30 seconds per question, 40 in the Abyss. Skip a question if it stalls you, then keep the run alive.
  4. See how you did. The reveal shows your rank, the answer distribution and one wonder fact. Seven answers make a game out of 700: four games make a daily total out of 2,800.
Wonderhop scoring tiers
Tier Points What it means
Perfect 100 The number one answer on the board for that game's goal.
Excellent 85–99 A near-perfect read of the room.
Great 70–84 A strong answer that most players would be happy with.
OK 55–69 Valid, but not the answer the game was looking for.
Weak 1–54 You went the wrong way. In Abyss, that is pricey.

Made for a daily habit

Why Wonderhop is different

Free, forever

No paywall, no “premium archive”, no ads. Four games, seven questions each, one honest score.

One year of puzzles, shipped

Every daily board for the season is generated in advance and served as a tiny static file, so the game loads instantly and never breaks.

Your words, not multiple choice

Wonderhop is a typing game. Autocomplete removes the friction, but the answer is always yours.

A calmer kind of competition

A spoiler-free share card, a local streak and a free archive. Play against the world's instincts, not a leaderboard of strangers.

Same puzzles for everyone

A new Wonderhop every day at midnight UTC

Wonderhop changes at 00:00 UTC. Everyone gets the same two seven-question boards: one for the popularity games and one for the timeline games. Play Sky and Abyss, then flip your instincts for Past and Future — the same seven questions, a completely different goal. Missed a day? The free archive lets you replay any day of the current season; your streak restarts, but the fun does not.

The daily reset is also the only schedule. Wonderhop has no cron job, no nightly server and no database: the calendar is computed in your browser, which is why the game is the same on a phone, a laptop and even a slow train connection.

Good questions

Wonderhop FAQ

Is Wonderhop free?

Yes. Every Wonderhop game, the archive and all four daily modes are free. There are no ads, no account and no paywall.

Do I need an account to play Wonderhop?

No. You can play Wonderhop straight away in your browser. Your streak, scores and settings are saved locally on your device, not on a server.

When do the Wonderhop questions change?

Every day at 00:00 UTC. Everyone in the world gets the same two seven-question boards: Sky and Abyss share the popularity board, and Past and Future share the timeline board.

How does Wonderhop scoring work?

Each answer earns up to 100 points, so a game is out of 700 and the full day is out of 2,800. A perfect answer is the very best one on the board: the most common in Sky, the rarest in Abyss, the oldest in Past or the newest in Future. Other good answers score by rank, from Excellent down to Weak.

What are the four Wonderhop games?

Sky asks for the most common answer, Abyss for the rarest, Past for the oldest and Future for the newest. Each game has seven questions and you answer them in 30 seconds, or 40 in Abyss.

Where do the answer percentages come from?

Every popularity question (Sky and Abyss) ships with a panel estimate of how often each answer is given; timeline questions (Past and Future) attach a year to each answer instead. All of it is baked into the question, not collected live from other players.

Why was my answer rejected in Wonderhop?

The game has a fixed list of accepted answers for each question. If your answer is not recognised, try the autocomplete suggestions or a shorter synonym, then enter another answer before the timer runs out.

Can I play past Wonderhop days?

Yes. The Wonderhop archive is free and lets you replay every day of the current season. A missed day resets your streak, but it never ends the fun.

Does Wonderhop work on a phone?

Yes. Wonderhop is built for phones and computers with the same daily game, large touch targets, keyboard shortcuts and a reduced-motion mode.

Can I share my Wonderhop score?

Yes. After each game you can copy a spoiler-free result card with your tier grid and score, or share it with your phone's share sheet. The card never reveals any answers.

About Wonderhop

Wonderhop is an independent daily game at wonderhop.online. It is made by a small team that likes words, statistics and the strange confidence of guessing what other people would say. The site exists for one daily ritual: four short games that make you wonder how the world thinks. Wonderhop is free to play, does not sell your data, does not show ads and does not require an account.

Questions and answer shares are curated in advance. Percentages are estimates, not live measurements; they are there to make the game work offline and instantly. Found a wrong fact, an unfair answer or a bug? Write to hello@wonderhop.online.
